Bolton Wanderers midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha has said that he will keep on trying to break his goal duck over the coming weeks but says the main thing for the team is to get some more points on the board and edge closer to safety.
The 30-year old has yet to score in the Premiership despite recording over 100 shots on target during the season and although he has recorded three Carling Cup goals this season the Nigerian international has said that it is unbeleiveable he has yet to get off the mark in the Premiership having been the clubs joint top goalscorer last season.
“It’s unbelievable,” . Okocha told the Club's Official Site
“I’ve never had such a season before in my whole career. But I’ll keep trying. The most important thing is for us to get the points onboard to get safe so that we aren’t struggling at the end of the season.”
