Jay-Jay Wins BoltonMAD Player Of The Month

Bolton Wanderers captain Jay-Jay Okocha has been nominated as the BoltonMAD player of the month in a recent poll held which 27.6% voted the influential midfielder as the Wanderers best player during January.

French World Cup winner Youri Djorkaeff came a close second with 23.5% of the votes whilst striker Kevin Davies came in third place. The rest of the voting was shared out between Jussi Jaaskelainen, Bruno N'Gotty, Nicky Hunt, Stelios and Kevin Nolan.

Okocha was the star man during Bolton's Carling Cup Semi Final First Leg tie in which he scored two free kicks, the second of which was a contender for goal of the season.
