Another Departure
Jamaican international midfielder Jermaine Johnson has completed a move to Lancashire rivals Oldham Athletic on a permanent basis until the seasons end after a late transfer deadline day swoop by the Latics.

Reports previously in the day claimed that Oldham boss Brian Talbot had been successful in his bid to lure the 23-year old back to Boundary Park where he had enjoyed a successful loan spell earlier in the season but the formalities of the deal were completed shortly before yesterday's deadline and the player will move on a Free Transfer with Wanderers taking a loss of £700,000 on a player they purchased from Tivoli Gardens just under three years ago.

Johnson burst onto the scene in September 2001 with an impressive Bolton debut in his first game away at Arsenal but despite this the player was unable to hold down a regular place in the first team that said, he did put in many consistant displays for the Jamaican national side including a starring role in last year's Gold Cup campaign.
