Georgi Kinkladze
Former Manchester City midfielder Georgi Kinkladze is reportedly training with Bolton Wanderers in the hope that he can secure a deal with the Carling Cup Finalists.

The 30-year old playmaker has been without a club since leaving Derby County in the summer and further attempts to make a comeback in the English game with both Portsmouth and Leeds United have failed. The players fitness has been a big problem in recent years but the Bolton manager Sam Allardyce is renouned for getting the best out of players who had been discarded by their previous clubs with the majority of his current squad having fell into that bracket.

Kinkladze was a revelation in England following his move to Manchester City from Dynamo Tbilisi in the summer of 1995 and was one of the star names for the Citezens for a number of years prior to a big money move to Ajax Amsterdam in 1998 however it remains to be seen whether a player who was once headhunted by all and sundry will be able to get his career back on track in the nation where he effectively made his name.

The midfielder will always be remembered for the fine solo goal he scored for City against Southampton in the 1995-1996 season when he beat a number of players before delicately chipping the ball over the Saints keeper Dave Beasant.
