Kinky Stays Open About Bolton Future

Trialist Georgi Kinkladze was staying coy on his future despite putting in a starring performance for Bolton Wanderers Reserves last night during their 2-0 win over Birmingham City.


The much capped Georgian international is a free agent having been without a club since leaving Division One outfit Derby County last summer and Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has agreed to give the former Ajax player a chance to prove his worth during a trial spell at the Reebok Stadium.

Kinkladze 30, was a revelation upon arriving in England nearly nine years ago when signing for local rivals Manchester City but problems with fitness and loss of form in recent years have hampered his progress in the English game however the midfield playmaker will be hoping that a spell with the Trotters will resurrect his career having seen similar spells with Leeds United, Portsmouth, Dundee and Panathinaikos fail earlier on in the season.

"I would like to play for Bolton, but I can't say anything else at the moment." Kinkladze told the Bolton Evening News
