Bolton Wanderers are hoping to tie up a deal for former Monaco left-back Phillippe Leonard in time for Saturday's FA Barclaycard Premiership clash with Manchester City at the City of Manchester Stadium.
The 29-year old Belgian international has impressed the Wanderers coaching staff during a training excersise in the Spanish resort of La Manga and manager Sam Allardyce is hopeful of putting together a deal for the former Standard Liege player who was linked with moves to both Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur last season.
Allardyce told the Manchester Evening News "We are looking at ways and means of sorting out a deal with him"
