New Bolton Wanderers signing Glen Little admits a move to the Reebok Stadium from Burnley came completely out of the blue but he admits he is looking forward to playing in the Premiership with his new team mates.
The 27-year old signed on a months loan during the transfer deadline in a loan swap for Delroy Facey and Gareth Farrelly who moved accross Lancashire to Turf Moor and he admits he didn't expect the move.
"It came as a surprise. I got a phone call yesterday morning from Stan Ternant saying that I would be going to Bolton for a month." he told the clubs official site
"Even though it's only a month, its a great move for me. If I can perform over the next few weeks I may be able to make the move more permanent" added the Londoner.
The former Crystal Palace and Reading player admits he is looking forward to finally playing in the Premiership and hopes to impress during his initial stint with the club.
"To play in the Premiership is a dream come true for me. I've always wanted to play at the highest level and now I have my chance. I have been plying my trade in the Nationwide for quite some time now and this is the opportunity I have been waiting for. I can't wait to join up with Sam Allardyce and give it my best shot"
He also remembers his first and only previous visit to the Reebok Stadium for Burnley in August 2000 in a 1-1 draw and was on the day one of the Clarets star men.
"Bolton is a great club and I have fond memories of playing at the Reebok Stadium. I played against Bolton a few seasons ago and it was one of my best performances in a Burnley shirt" he said
"I've played against a few of the Bolton players in my time and they have always been very competetive. The players that Sam Allardyce has brought to the Reebok over the past few years have been exceptional. There are some big name players who are doing well so to link up with them will be good" he said of his new team mates
"I'll join up with the rest of the squad today, with the international break now underway, the next two weeks will give me an opportunity to train with the squad and get accustomed to new training methods and my new collegues" he said
