Radhi Jaidi could be set to end recent speculation about his future by signing a new and improved contract with Bolton Wanderers.
Clubs such as Charlton Athletic and Middlesbrough have both cast an interested glare at Jaidi ever since the Tunisian international voiced his discontent at losing his place to Tal Ben-Haim at the Reebok Stadium.
A written transfer request was submitted two weeks ago, but this has since been rejected by the Wanderers who want to keep the powerful African at the club for their first crack at European football.
One national newspaper suggested today that Jaidi was on £5,000 per week, but claimed that this wage would be doubled as part of the speculated new deal.
