Bolton defender Bruno N'Gotty has revealed that his collegues at the Reebok Stadium often look to him for advice when they have a situation which needs to be resolved.
The 33-year old is now in his fourth season with the club having joined from Olympique Marseille, initially on loan, back in September 2001 and he says
that the other players consider him to be a key member of the team.
"It is true that they consider me a key player. When there is a little matter to settle, people ask me. I have not been given this role but it is natural because I am the third oldest player and am starting my fourth season at the club." he said
N'Gotty, who has won four caps for his country and has seen spells with the likes of AC Milan and Lyon says that the Wanderers can build on the eighth placed finish which they recorded last season.
"Last season we finished eighth in the league and reached the League Cup final. This autumn we have continued our improvement. We are a cosmopolitan group and the new players who came in this summer have been integrated quickly. It is probably the key to our success
