Nigerian midfielder Blessing Kaku made the most of his twenty minute appearance against Real Zaragoza yesterday prompting Bolton Wanderers to take further interest in the player.
The 26-year old midfielder/defender impressed the few who basked in the sunshine at the Reebok Stadium when coming on as a second half substitute for fellow countryman Jay-Jay Okocha showing a neat touch as well as a more than useful ability to win the ball - seemingly at ease.
Kaku has played in Belgium and Israel and his last club was Ashdod FC whom he spent time with on loan last season. His CV is very similar to recent signing Julio Cesar in the fact that he had a number of clubs before arriving in Lancashire last week and has previously interested Sunderland this summer.
Assistant boss Phil Brown confirmed to SKY Sports News that the player is well worth another look and could earn himself a deal if he continues to put in the same level of performance that he did yesterday.
"He's worth another look and hopefully we will be able to make something happen, we will see what Sam has to say but in the time he was on he certainly painted a good picture" Brown said
