Bolton boss Sam Allardyce said: "Even at 20, Kevin is the type of player you look at as a regular with the standards he achieves.
"One you'd hope would be an ever-present. If he's not there, you worry about whether you have anyone who can take his place.
"He's going to be an outstanding, top player in England if he carries on learning.
"We've certainly missed him when he's been out."
