The Wanderers midfielder is now expected to captain his country in their game against Gabon at Port Harcourt on Saturday.
"We had suspected that Jay Jay Okocha and Wilson Oruma were nursing injuries, but from the look of things and what I have seen of them so far in the last two days at our training sessions that's not the case," said team psychologist Robinson Okosun.
