The 31-year old is a former team mate of the current Bolton captain Jay-Jay Okocha during their days together at Paris Saint Germain and will link up with the Wanderers star during the African Nations Cup next month, however Okpara has told reporters he is keen to leave the Belgian side two years after joining from PSG.
The influence of Okocha would be a big pull to bring the player to Bolton should they follow up any potential interest however a return to Strasbourg could also be temping for the player who had a succesful time with them during the 1990's.
