Bolton Wanderers striker Henrik Pedersen has said that he was pleased to get on the scoresheet during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Arsenal claiming it was one of the best goals he has ever scored.
The Dane was brought on for Kevin Nolan in the final quarter of the game and with seven minutes to go managed to volley past the Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann following a good knock down from Kevin Davies to earn Wanderers a share of the spoils.
"It was one of the best goals of my career. It was truly fantastic to see it hit the back of the net, particularly against Arsenal, its particularly nice to score against the top clubs" he told Onside.dk
"The Carpenter" as he is known in his homeland, also outlined his ambitions when he said he was hoping to reclaim his place in the Bolton starting line up and looked back on a week which had seen him set up the goal at Chelsea which went in off John Terry, score the winner in the Carling Cup against Southampton and net the equaliser on Saturday.
"Its going tremendously well, I have scored two and a half goals in one week, therefore i hope to be a regular starter again soon. I just try to do my best to convince the manager, but we have good players" he added
