Bolton Wanderers striker Henrik Pedersen insists his long-term future isn't at left-back.
Pedersen reluctantly accepts he may be the long-term solution to Sam Allardyce's left-back problem, saying:
"I've read that's the case, but I don't know what to think about it.
"At the beginning, I just thought I would play there until Ricky [Gardner] became fit again, but I have been playing there since, so I must be doing something right.
"He must believe I'm the best player for the position right now, which is a compliment, and you always try to do the best when you play to maintain that position.
"For me personally, it's better to be playing than being on the bench like I was at the end of last season, so if he wants me to play left-back then I will play there.
"It's certainly becoming easier with every game I play, but it's still not natural for me, and I don't think I'm a better player because of it.
"But I'll just keep doing the best I can, and in whatever position he puts me in."
