Bolton Wanderers home game against Liverpool which was originally scheduled for Saturday 28th August 2004 will now be staged a day later to accomodate live television coverage by SKY Sports, the kick off time will now be 4:05pm.
The North-West derby against the Reds is hopefully the first of many games during the new season in which the Wanderers will be featured on the box. Last season's live coverage was at a minimum for the Trotters despite their unexpected success in the Premiership, something which was picked up on by chairman Phil Gartside last month.
Newcastle United's visit to the Reebok is also billed for live coverage for the second season in succession and will now take place on Sunday 31st October again with a 4:05pm kick off. The Magpies North-East rivals Middlesbrough also find themselves in the company of Andy Gray and co as the Wanderers travel to the Riverside Stadium on 7th November for a 2pm kick off time.
Suprisingly the three local derbies in December against both the Manchester clubs and Blackburn Rovers have been snubbed in favour of less glamourous ties.
