Portuguese youngster Miguel Hugo Almieda is beleived to have been the subject of an enquiry from Premiership clubs Bolton Wanderers and Crystal Palace.
The Premiership duo are both in need of attacking reinforcements following injuries to their forward line and Porto striker Almieda is the latest name in the frame.
Almeida 20, is well down the pecking order at Das Antas and is being tipped for a loan move elsewhere before the closure of the transfer window at the end of this month.
The Champions League holders will only allow the youngster to move to a club where he can be guarenteed first team football, something which at the moment he will be given if Wanderers firm up their interest.
Bolton had previously been linked with a move for Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi but it is unlikely that the Suffolk club will want to part with the Finnish striker easily.
