The 36-year old World Cup winner is a free agent having turned down new terms to stay with Bolton over the summer and this has apparently alerted his former national boss Jacques Santini who is keen on bringing him south to White Hart Lane.
Everton boss David Moyes is also keen on the Frenchman as he looks to find experienced out of contract players to compensate for the loss of star forward Wayne Rooney to Manchester United last week.
Djorkaeff has told his agent Willie McKay to find him a club in England with reports suggesting that the ex-Inter Milan player could be back on these shores within the next couple of weeks having been keeping himself fit in his homeland with former club Monaco.
"There has been plenty of interest in Youri from a few different clubs and anything is possible.
"Youri is such a fantastic professional he could do a job in any Premiership side.He has a number of options which we will look at over the next couple of days." McKay told the press.
A return to Bolton has not yet been ruled out but both parties would need to resolve their differences if that where to happen and with the Wanderers in the market for Khalilou Fadiga and Emmanuel Petit a move for Djorkaeff may be just out of reach.
