Former Bolton Wanderers favourite Eidur Gudjohnsen is reportedly interesting both Manchester City and Middlesbrough who have been alerted to the Icelandic International's lack of first team action with Chelsea.
It has been reported that Gudjohnsen, who played for Bolton between 1998 and 2000 before a £4 million move to Stamford Bridge is interesting the duo and that a January bid could be imminent for the former PSV Eindhoven player who has been sent down the pecking order with the Blues due to the arrivals of Hernan Crespo and Adrian Mutu.
However Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri has hinted in the past that Gudjohnsen is very much part of his future plans with the club and having recently penned a new deal it may take something special to lure him away from the Chelsea revolution which is being built by the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
