Real Madrid Ace Linked

Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce has joined the race for Real Madrid defender Ivan Helguera.

Allardyce is banking on Bolton's connection with Real to clinch a deal for Helguera ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal.

Helguera is off contract in the summer and can sign a pre-contract on January 1 with any interested rival club.
