It has been reported that Bolton Wanderers have reached an agreement with Village United over the transfer of goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts.
The towering 26-year old will join the club initially on a loan period until the end of the season and if Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce decides to take the player permanently then they will have to pay Village United a fee of £300,000.
It was revealed last week that the former Galaxy FC player would once again try his luck in England following a succesful trial at the Reebok Stadium. A previous move to Leyton Orient broke down over work permit problems last season but since the player is now the number one goalkeeper for the Reggaeboyz it is expected there should be no such problems arise this time around.
