Bolton Wanderers are keeping tabs on Cameroon international defender Benoit Angbwa.
The 23-year-old has emerged as a target for Trotters boss Sam Allardyce, who has seen his defence decimated by injury in recent weeks.
Angbwa is a right back and is currently playing his football in Uruguay with Nacional, having spent last season with Lille.
But Angbwa is believed to be unsettled since his return to South America and is hoping to clinch a move back to Europe in the New Year.
Sam Allardyce may now offer Angbwa a trial after sending scouts to watch Cameroon's World Cup Qualifier on Saturday.
