The Bolton manager Sam Allardyce had ended his interest in the player last week after the centre half had spent some time on trial with the Trotters, citing contractual dispute with his current club as his reasons for not persuing the player but now it seems the way is clear for the Wanderers boss to reaffirm his interest in the former Steau Bucharest man.
Despite declaring an interest to come to England, Filipescu was staying tight lipped over his next move but as the deal for former Monaco left-back Phillippe Leonard is looking more and more unlikely the Romanian could be the next option for the Bolton cheif.
"For the moment I am not saying anything. I have already stated on numerous occasions that firstly i have to resolve my situation with Betis and then we'll see" he said
