Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed he is keen on signing Zambian striker Collins Mbesuma.
Mbesuma's performances for Kaizer Chiefs have attracted a host of clubs with Bolton firmly interested in the Zambian international.
His performances have not gone unnoticed at Bolton and Sam Allardyce has admitted he would like to sign him.
"Collins Mbesuma is a player who would interest us," Allardyce told the club's official website.
"He is a prolific goalscorer who has had a fantastic season in South Africa."
Mbesuma was named South Africa's Footballer Of The Year last season, scoring 35 goals and helping his club retain the South African title. Reports also suggest he is interested in a move to England to enhance his career.
Meanwhile, another Bolton target Christian Vieri has joined AC Milan after being released by rivals Inter. Milan have beaten off competition to secure the signature of Vieri, therefore meaning another lost chase for Sam Allardyce.
