On numerous occasions this week Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Bolton's wide man, Stelios Giannakopoulos.
Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has poured cold water over the rumours by revealing he is about to offer the Greek star an improved contract and is positive a deal can be agreed.
Contrary to reports, there hasn't been any official offers made for Stelios and the former Olympiakos player still has a year left to run on his contract.
Sam Allardyce also stated he wants Radhi Jaidi, Nicky Hunt and Tal Ben-Haim to commit to the club by signing new and improved contracts.
He said, "I said at the end of the season that I wanted to put those deals to bed before I did anything else but, for one reason or another, we haven't been able to do so."
