Shakes To Change Nationality

Bolton Wanderers utility player Ricky Shakes is set to switch his international allegiancies to Trinidad and Tobago in the coming weeks.

The 19-year old has only just made the regular breakthrough in the Wanderers first team squad following three years as a consistant performer in the Trotters reserve team.

It has come to light that although born and raised in the Brixton area of London, Shakes is eligable to pledge his nationality to Trinidad because his mother has connections there.

T&T representative Jack Warner was made aware of Shakes by the Coventry City forward Stern John, who has been a regular member of the Soca Warriors squad in recent years.
