The Bolton Wanderers midfielder was close to joining the Reds last summer before the proposed move collapsed at the last minute, and the Greek still harbours an ambition to play for the Anfield club.
"That's my dream. Not only to go to Liverpool but, in general, to go to a bigger team," the international star told Greek daily Eleftheros Typos.
"Then I would say that I have reached the peak of my career. That's my vision and I am working very hard every week to make Liverpool or any big team chase my signature."
Meanwhile, American wing back Steve Cherundolo is being linked with a summer move to the Reebok Stadium.
The 27-year old who has represented German Bundesliga club Hannover 96 for the last six years wants his situation to be sorted over the next few weeks in time for the World Cup.
"The whole matter will be decided within the next three to four weeks as I want to have things settled before the World Cup," Cherundolo told Kicker Magazine.
