The 35-year old former Bolton Wanderers favourite is without a club having been sacked by AGF Aarhus following an incident at a Christmas party last month.
Tofting, who has also played for clubs in Germany and China, revealed that he is looking forward to linking up once again with his countryman and former Wanderers team-mate Per Frandsen at the JJB Stadium.
