The 30-year old playmaker, who is also captain of his country Nigeria, has yet to sign a longer deal at the Reebok Stadium and once again the Sunday tabloids have linked the skillful midfielder with a move away from The Trotters.
However despite constant press speculation and rumour, the player has admitted he is more than happy with life with Sam Allardyce's team and over recent weeks has put in many star performances most notably in the games against Tottenham and Everton.
Whether or not the Olympic Gold Medalist will stay with the Trotters is all dependant on where the club finish at the end of the season, currently sat in mid table it is highly likely the former Paris Saint Germain player will stay put at the club should this remain the case.
