Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce has revealed Portuguese starlet Ricardo Vaz Te believes he's better than El-Hadji Diouf, Stelios and Hidetoshi Nakata!
The teenage striker has been pleading for a start and is set to face Leicester City tonight, trying hard to live up to his own hype.
The Bolton chief said: "He thinks he is better than Nakata, better than Stelios and better than El-Hadji Diouf. He thinks he is even better than Bestie.
"It's nothing to criticise him about, but he has just got to be patient. He feels he should be playing in every game and he's only 19."
"I hope the goal has lifted him and takes him to the next level and shows us that he is worth a shirt on a regular basis.
"But the competition's stiff. He has the ability but, in the Premiership, ability is only a small percentage of what he needs."
Allardyce, who plans to put out a strong side, said: "The Carling Cup is the easiest cup to win, there are fewer games to get through. It's ten times harder to win the UEFA Cup."
