Senegalese international midfielder Khalilou Fadiga is still a target of Bolton Wanderers despite the fact that the transfer window has now closed.
The 29-year old has been in talks with the Trotters over the last few days about a move to the Reebok Stadium following his release from Italian giants Inter Milan.
Fadiga who has also played for Auxerre and Standard Liege, shot to prominence in his country's 2002 World Cup campaign in Japan & Korea where he lined up alongside current Wanderers loanee El-Hadji Diouf in a Senegal team that managed to defeat the then holders France at the start of the group stages.
Inter released the African ace in the summer without seeing him in a competitive match after they found out that he had an abnormal hearbeat but this has since been corrected through recent surgery and Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is hopeful to add the free agent to his cosmopolitan squad.
