McGugan misses out for Hornets
Lewis McGugan will miss Watford's home clash with Bolton through suspension, while Lloyd Doyley is out with a hamstring injury.
McGugan picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at Middlesbrough last time out and serves a one-game ban.
Hornets manager Gianfranco Zola is sweating over the fitness of Essaid Belkalem (ankle) and Ikechi Anya (calf). He will definitely be without Almen Abdi (foot) and Tommie Hoban (ankle).
Nyron Nosworthy played in a midweek friendly and could make his first-team comeback after eight months on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.
Bolton boss Dougie Freedman will be without Kevin McNaughton for the trip.
The on-loan Cardiff defender suffered a hamstring injury in the victory over Millwall and is expected to be sidelined for around a month.
Long-term absentee Craig Davies (hamstring) came off the bench in the 83rd minute against the Lions, but he will play no part on Saturday.
Adam Bogdan, Joe Riley, Mark Davies and Stuart Holden (all knee) and Marc Tierney (foot) are still out.
