We Will Bounce Back - Nolan

Bolton midfielder Kevin Nolan believes that the club can put Saturday's defeat to Fulham behind them by picking up three points in the game against manager-less Southampton on Wednesday night.

The 22-year old says that the Wanderers came out second best to a hard-working Fulham team, whilst also pointing out that the Trotters could have done a lot better had they matched the Cottagers work ethic.

"Fulham are a hard-working side with a lot of talented individuals but not enough of us performed and that was the major factor," he told the Official Site

"You've got to give them credit - they played really well - but if we had been on top of our game we could have done a lot better. That was the most disappointing thing."

However Nolan refused to dwell on the weekend events and was looking to the midweek trip to Southampton as a benchmark to get things back on track again in a game which he feels Bolton are more than capable of taking something from.

"We've got to put the result to bed. We've got a big game on Wednesday and if we get a good result there we can go back up the M6 very happy." the former England U21 star added
