MATCH PREVIEW
Having dented the title challenges of Arsenal and Manchester United last week, West Brom and Bolton come into this game full of confidence.
I hope the fans don't get carried away by the Arsenal result. Bolton is a difficult game
West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo
West Brom stunned the Gunners by winning 3-2 at the Emirates while Bolton twice led Manchester United before drawing 2-2. Neither side is getting carried away though; Bolton manager Owen Coyle even says that his team are "not anywhere near" where he wants them to be. But these are encouraging times for both sets of supporters.
The Baggies, who finished bottom of the Premier League with 32 points in 2008/09, are making a much better fist of life in the top flight this time and sit in sixth place. Sunderland and Birmingham have both been beaten at the Hawthorns this season and you have to go back to January to find West Brom's last home defeat, when Nottingham Forest won 3-1 in the Championship.
Bolton finished in the top eight for four consecutive seasons under Sam Allardyce, and the current side look capable of matching that achievement. "This is very much a work in progress, but we are hopefully evolving day by day," manager Owen Coyle says.
