Bolton Wanderers and Portsmouth have reportedly been alerted to Sebastien Schemmel's situation at West Ham United following the Frenchman's desire to leave the relegated club.

The former Nancy and FC Metz player has been frozen out of the first team at Upton Park having not played for over six months due to the emergance of Glen Johnson, now of Chelsea and has vented his feelings towards manager Glenn Roeder publicly, this resulting in the wing-back being made available for transfer by the London club alerting ourselves and his former boss at West Ham Harry Redknapp now in charge at Pompey.

"I am here to play for West Ham but if I carry on not getting a game it will make me angry. It's six months since I last played a game for West Ham and I don't deserve that." said the 28-year old.

Schemmel is a big crowd favourite with the Hammers having won the Player of the Year award in the 2001-2002 season but admits he cannot understand why he is out of favour.

"Two years ago i was voted best player at the club and now im in the reserves, i thought Glenn Roeder would have been more intellegent than that" blasted the Frenchman.

"They dont even take me on many away trips, it's like they're trying to kill me, All i want to see is West Ham back in the Premiership but the way the coaching staff are going about it, i can't see it happening"

The defender has turned down offers to return to Metz and a lucrative offer to join Sporting Lisbon, prefering to hold out for a move to a Premiership side or a club in La Liga but either way it looks as if he could have played his last game for Glenn Roeder's men.
