The 4-0 win over their Belgian counterparts was their second 4-0 win in a week and a third win in three matches over pre-season where the Wanderers have hit an incredible 15 goals over three games.
Sam Allardyce had given debuts to new Greek signing Stylianos Giannakopoulos and 17-year old Academy defender Charlie Comyn-Platt for the first home friendly of the summer.
Royal Antwerp included Manchester United youngsters Colin Heath and David Fox in their line up as part of an ongoing feeder agreement between the Belgians and the Premiership Champions.
Kevin Nolan opened the scoring for the Trotters on seven minutes when he hit the back of the net from a tight angle having rounded the Antwerp goalkeeper Boyen.
In form England U21 player Nolan, who had scored in the previous two friendlies in the tour of Northern Ireland added his second goal of the game on fifteen minutes when he headed home a Youri Djorkaeff free kick.
Debutant Giannakopoulos could have gotten on the scoresheet himself when on the half hour mark his drive tested the Antwerp keeper but despite more pressure from the home side the scoreline stayed at 2-0 for the interval.
Antwerp where clearly the poorer team offering little threat to Jussi Jaaskelainen's goal but their supporters where in good spirit and seemed to be cheering constantly throughout the game trying to lift what seemed like a very lethargic side.
Bolton made numerous substitutions at Half-Time introducing Jonathan Walters, Henrik Pedersen, Gareth Farrelly and Jeff Smith into the game with Anthony Barness, Jay-Jay Okocha, Youri Djorkaeff and Stelios Giannakopoulos all making way, Nicky Hunt was also introduced soon after replacing Kevin Nolan.
Indeed it was the arrival of Smith which helped set up the third goal as on 58 minutes his corner was met by Kevin Davies to tap home his second goal in a week and his first in front of his new home supporters following his recent Free Transfer move from Southampton.
The scoreline could of so easily gone to four on the hour. Substitute Henrik Pedersen had a shot well saved by the Antwerp keeper Boyen, but the Belgian keeper saw red mist pushing Davies, who attempted to follow up the rebound, in the back and the referee had no option to award the penalty. However Jonathan Walters failed to convert the resulting spot kick.
The fourth goal did however come a few minutes later, as on 63 minutes a high cross by Jeff Smith was headed back across goal to Henrik Pedersen who nodded home past the luckless Antwerp stopper.
Delroy Facey and Danny Livesey where added to the fray when they replaced Kevin Davies and Florent Laville but thankfully for the Belgian side the game had already been won meaning Wanderers will go into their tour of Malta next week with a 100% record.
