The Trotters finished bottom of the 2003-2004 FA Premier Reserve League (North) - a number of a points adrift of the nearest team Wolverhampton Wanderers whom ironically they will face in the opening fixture of the new season.
Once again the County Ground in Leyland has been chosen as the venue for the home fixtures with some matches subject to change. September will see the second string face local derbies against North West rivals Manchester United and Everton.
