Bolton Wanderers youngster Martin Moran has made the short move across Lancashire to link up with Leigh RMI for the new season after being told that he would not be kept on at the Reebok Stadium.
The 19-year old defender had been an Academy scholar at Bolton since 2001 but a catalogue of injuries during his time with the Trotters hampered a fine start for the Blackpool born defender who had no hesitation in stepping down to the Conference in an attempt to find a new club.
Former Manchester United schoolboy Moran had been on trial with RMI for most of the summer and rejected the overtures of a Coca Cola League club in London to stay in the North West area.
