Bolton Wanderers reserves will be hoping to turn their season around this evening as they take on Sunderland reserves at the Archibalds Stadium in Durham.
The Trotters have suffered a mixed run of form since the turn of the year and have slipped down the table slightly despite a good pre-Christmas run late in 2004.
Opponents Sunderland play their first FA Premier Reserve League game in nearly a month having seen their programme desrupted because of weather conditions in recent weeks.
In the corresponding fixture this time last year, a goal from former Watford striker Tommy Smith gave the Black Cats all three points whilst earlier that season Wanderers ran out comfortable winners as Charlie Comyn-Platt and Mario Jardel gave Bolton a 2-1 win.
